I am not able to buy a premium account due to this error. I'm also not able to edit the postal code on my account.
Hello and welcome to the Spotify Community!
I'm sorry you're having problems! Please, contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form, or tweeting to @SpotifyCares (ENG), @SpotifyAyuda (ESP) or @SpotifyAjuda (PT).
If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.
Don't forget to check your Spam Box 😉
This problem is being looked into. Since multiple people are having this problem, it is likely a problem that will need to be fixed from Spotify's end. It seems that this is only affecting Canadian users.
In the meantime,
I suggest you contact support so they can help you
https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/
If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.
Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
You can also tweet to @SpotifyCares on Twitter for help.

Hey guys!
Thanks for posting in the community here 🙂
We're investigating this at current, so hopefully we'll have a fix shortly. In the meantime, could you try entering the postcode with/without a space or in lower case/upper case (or a mix of the 2). How does that help out with things?
Keep us posted, we'd love to know how this assists with things.
Thanks
Hello Jason,
None of your suggestions work. I did try several times lower case, upper case, a combination of the two.
Trying to enter the payment information in a incognito, or private browser window does not work either.
It's not only in the payment window that I can't enter my postal code. In my account information, the same problem happens too!
Would really love to get Premium w/o having to go thru Apple 😉
Thank you!
Does your "investigation" involve reading the emails you've gotten from people? Because you should know the answer to both of those questions after a week of "investigation."
No, changing the capitalization doesn't work, and it's not even possible to add a space.
Same issue here tried everything to subscribe to premium.
Also i bought a Spotify Premium e-card for a month at 9,99$ ,everything went smoothly throughtout the payment but when i try to use the code you know what,Enter a valid zip code error again.
Has anyone tried contacting them on Twitter? Obviously the correct people are not being made aware of this situation.
Form is still broken. Support request doesn't indicate that anyone is going to review my ticket.. it just says herp derp.
Spotify Support Case # 02540655
Spotify is currently looking into this problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Thanks for your patience.
Looks like I found workaround.
After few failed attempts to provide canadian postal code I entered US one, just 12345, and was taken to paypal login page ( I used paypal option). After I logged in there was error message that I don't appear to be in US and will be switched to canadian account. Next I got same spottify upgrade page and this time used credit card (I assume paypal would have worked too) and my CANADIAN postal code. After that it worked.
2018 and this problem still exists.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
