Add Equalizer in Spotify

For ipod touch there is a huge need for eq because Spotify bypasses the regular Apple Sound Settings.

I use high end headphones but need to be able to fintune the settings so I can enjoy my music and tech equally.

So please, please make an EQ for the spotify app

Spotify now lets you enjoy music audio the way you want to hear it with the launch of our in-app equalizer on the iPhone and iPad.

Simply update the latest version of the Spotify iOS app and go to Settings > Playback > Equalizer to access the new feature.

If you're one of our Android friends, we already have a native equalizer which you can access inside the app under Audio Effects in the Settings. 

If you'd like to see an equalizer on desktop you can give kudos to this "Equalizer for the Desktop Version" idea. Thanks!

Having one of these on spotify would be great. Also, for it to be strong and stable with no distortion (unlike itunes EQ)

Yes please eq would really be good. And sometimes just having goodmheadphonesnisnt enough. I have £250 headphones and still miss the eq because certain genres of music really need it I.e hip hop.

I can't find this idea here, but I can't believe no one posted this before.

I miss an equalizer inside the Spotify UI. I work both on Mac and Windows ("Equalify" works only on Windows and isn't a genuine Spotify feature). sometimes with larger speakers and sometimes on tiny speakers, so I need some tweaking there. I believe a lot of folks listen to music on laptopspeakers. Horror without a bit of tweaking in high tones. Maybe as an equalizer-app, or inside the preferences?

It doesn't have to come with presets and 10 switchers, a 4-band would do the trick, and maybe a save-option (or import-option from equalizers in Itunes, VLC or windows mediaplayer.)

I am not wishing to sound boastful but I am a sound engineer and have some Grado 10 in ear headphones and the lack of eq makes the music sound crap on my iPhone 4S. It maybe giving me 320kbps but with my now cancelled Napster tracks on mp3 at 192kps and with an eq is far better! I read someone saying you need better headphones, well for me that isn't the case. P-J
