[All Platforms][Other] Mono option for hearing impaired

Spotify needs to have a mono option for those of us who are hearing impaired. It is exclusionary otherwise!!!

If you listen to Spotify using an iPhone, you can switch to mono sound like this: From the Home screen, select “Settings“. Choose “General“. Select “Accessibility“. In the “Hearing” section, turn the “Mono Audio” option to “On” (green).

If you're just walking around with your phone, you can change the audio to mono in your phone settings. I know in Apple it's under settings>general>accessability>and in a subsetting called "hearing" you can change all of the audio output to mono. Hopefully that'll help folks who, at least, are walking around.

I am hearing disabled but still want to be able to enjoy music. It's difficult when I only can hear halfgood with one ear in headset.
If it was possible to play in mono it would help a lot. And maybe I can enjoy your music again, as before I became hearing disabled.

This is a function I would really like to see implemented in Spotify, at work I may only use one earplug due to security reasons working at a warehouse.

i also think this is a must. people need this for all sorts of reasons. i use a old 1970s amp because i want too and sometimes i like to stream music with f e spotify. who cares what the producers think, its us listeners you should be conserned about.

I agree with this 100%. Mono is needed for every situation where only 1 headphone is needed, which happens far more often than one might think.

Pleeeeasse add mono output option... Love Spotify premium but this is really a deal breaker. I mean come on its so simple.

I would love to see spotify offer mono streaming, too. 

As a workaround for OSX users, there is a tweak in Accessibility settings that creates the same effect http://www.cnet.com/how-to/output-stereo-as-mono-in-os-x/ , although it is system-wide.

I know this has probably been buried as a low priority idea but it really is an accessibility issue for those of us deaf in one ear. Apple even offer mono output in their accessibility settings. I miss parts of stereo songs, particularly if there's heavy panning involved. A mono option would be amazing.
