[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Hey!

The Spotify Community team here.

We're pleased to confirm that this feature should now be available to all Android users.
We'd recommend double-checking that you're running the latest version of Spotify.

Once again, thanks for showing your support here in the Community.

It's beyond me how they just say "we still think it's a good idea" after 3 years and don't follow up on it 7 months later. Very disappointing, spotify! It's just a big **bleep** YOU by your side.

The only reason premium is worth it, is for the mobile features and with such a vital part missing, there's no reason for a renewal of my subscription.

Dont understand how this doesnt exist in 2017.  Literally every playlist function in any other platform has this option.

51 pages of comments and 1000s of requests for this and nothing more than a We are listening generic response...pathetic

Leytart

Another bump to remind spotify to fix this. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Hey @__spo__ come on.

You're a joke.

Fix this.

Spotify. If you're not going to add the simple one-update feature then could you at least provide an explanation as to why not? Because other than keeping your app from running at its full potential and making clients upset, I dont understand the reasoning behind your lack of interest in your customers. Im lost. Its been years. Its something that could be changed overnight.

It seems that this is not the right place, problem is that no place seems
to be the right one 🙂

When I was a young this kind of things got resolved talking to each other,
face to face. Those times are long gone... Now companies hides themselves
behind @ # and other strange strategies 🙂

So common answers are "we're listening" "we'll pass it to the developers
team" etc, in the meantime we have to program our own apps to do what we
should be present from day 1 because despite the large number of premium
members Spotify has lost focus on caring for all mobile platforms equally,
having said that it is possibly the main reason that could make that
company fail.

Hope it happens soon, I mean that some more clever people takes care of
such a faulty, sloppy and careless company.

Come on, this is available on IOS but not android. It a pre existing feature . Surely it can't be that hard to add it to android in the next update . But then again , it would have thought it would be released on both devices . So why is Spotify the same price regardless of the platform when one platform had less features than the rest? Why should I have to go online to re arrange a playlist when others can just use their app easily and quickly?

What about Google Music?
Do they have a better player? Spotifyes GUI are a little messy...
87racer

Yep, Google Music has this, even without entering an edit menu.  Just touch and drag on the two lines to the left of the song title.  Very smooth.  I think I'm going to check out their free 30 day trial and see what their selection is like just for this feature...Maybe I will just switch...

It's only been three years, I can understand that we have not heard anything but bs from you. It's not like this is a basic feature of a music player that not only every other one has but you do as well on all other platforms.

**bleep**ing pathetic **bleep** show, embarrassing really.
