[Desktop][Other] Let us choose to pin (or don't) the song details on fullscreen mode

It's came to my attention that over the weekend a new change got added to the fullscreen mode on the desktop app that now makes that album art, song name and artist name fade away (plus finally adding a volume control on full screen - which is great by the way).

This change pretty much breaks the usability of full screen for me now as Full Screen mode was a way for everyone in the office able to see what song is currently playing, but now we just get a darkened artist image at best, at worst it's just a grey gradient background for those songs by artists without images.

This makes the whole experience pretty awful in my opinion. At the very least there should be a way to pin that information at all times for those of us that like to be able to see that information at a glance.

Hey! Looks like that your idea is growing up fast and it's amazing! We are going to change its status to 'Good Suggestion' now and we hope it continues to be supported by more and more users.

Ridiculous that this isn't yet a feature. I just got a third monitor and like having Spotify up on it in fullscreen when not in use for anything else. It makes much, much more sense to have this option available; I think it should be toggleable and definitely the default that the song/album/artist/time info stays visible. The artwork is the background, not what we're going into fullscreen for. Hope this is added.

Add me to the 'this is ridiculous' camp. I don't see how any UI developer could have looked at the fullscreen Spotify with UI, then see the UI fade away to nothing leaving an entire single-colored screen, and say to themselves 'Mmm yes, this is an improvement'. It kills the usefulness of fullscreen mode for me, I want to be able to look at my screen at get the info at a glance instead of having to pull it up because Spotify thinks I want a random color gradient more than the song details - something it is happy to show me at all times in non-Fullscreen mode.

The really annoying thing is that Spotify still works exactly as expected on my Xbox.  If they had really planned to break Full Screen like this, why did the only "choose" to do it on one platform?

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that this is just a bug, not an intended change. Software development can be finicky, especially when dealing with multiple platforms sharing similar functionality. That said, I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed yet.
