Picture on Profile

I would like to suugest the option of adding our own pictures or avitars WITHOUT linking it to our Facebook accounts.

I know there are some of us that were fortunate enough to get Spotify before it linked with Facebook and I would love to add my picture on the account page.

You folks are getting bigger and bigger, what is the deal? Have some techie make an adjustment.

Is there some security fear about uploading an image or is there a deal with Facebook. This whole interface between Facebook and Spotify just makes me weary. It prevents a lot of folks I would like to share music, and yes my photo with. No more shoegazing, you can do it.

I think its bullcrap that we can't simply add pictures to our spotifys I don't see why not and all the people on spotify are just being idiots and not doing anything about it. What if I want my friends to know that its me and that they can't tell them its me. What do I do then geniuses? Think your so smart now. All this stupid ideas to get facebook more users is **bleep** because I shouldn't have to just so I can listen to freaking music with my friends. So screw all you people that aren't doing anything about it because I'm sick of everyone playing backseat in what happens in this stupid spotify corporation. When you wouldn't have a business if we weren't making accounts for you and paying for premiums. So stick that up your ass and shove it.

Dear Spotify,

     I have been a paying customer for a while now, and love your service. However, I am not able to upload a profile picture because I do not use Facebook. I choose to stay away from Facebook due to well-known privacy concerns. I have suggested Spotify to many friends and family members, and some of them are now paying customers, too. They aren't able to "find" me at Spotify, because I do not have a profile picture to indicate that this is, indeed, me. 

     Please add this functionality to Spotify, or, if you refuse to do so, explain clearly and openly why you refuse to do so. I would like to know what your decisions are in this matter, as my continued support of your service depends on it.

100% agree with OP. Hurry up Spotify - I don't want to deal with FB and this is a very basic property to implement if you want to bring a better service to your (paying!) customers.

Or, if not last.fm, how about twitter? There's already the ability to share to twitter on Spotify, so there must already be some twitter/Spotify integration. Doesn't Spotify know that younger users are increasingly moving away from facebook - even facebook knows it!
