Picture on Profile

I would like to suugest the option of adding our own pictures or avitars WITHOUT linking it to our Facebook accounts.

I know there are some of us that were fortunate enough to get Spotify before it linked with Facebook and I would love to add my picture on the account page.

With the news that many people are turning away from Fakebook I do not understand why so many sites still link themselves in this way. I am not totally against the link but there are other social sites. I for one wouldn't be against a Twitter or even Gravatar link and it looks like many people would like to see nolink whatsoever.

I would also like to add that in the past I have been put of sites because of the Farcebook link and also that my main 'wall' is not a social site at all. Is is a blog

So is there any news/update on being able to create a profile picture? This seems pretty basic, no? I promote Spotify playlists I create on a very popular website, and I would like to have my profile show as "me" and not a creepy shadow - but I am off of FB for the time being. C'mon guys, help a sister out, I'm a paying subscriber! 😕

Come on Spotify! Please wake up and realize that not everyone wants to be herded onto the Zuickerberg reservation! Please confirm that you have added the following to the Spotify roadmap: "Allow Spotify premium users to optionally upload and manage their own profile picture directly. Decouple the requirement for profile pictures for Premium members to be sourced only from Facebook." For a comment from Ian Robbins, Spotify's US-born product owner of artist products.:"..[Spotify's] only significant blunder to date occurred during its alliance with Facebook in September 2011, when it prioritised sharing over privacy. Seriously, 2014 and Spotify doesn't allow user choice profile uploads!! Facebook does have a lot of subscribers, many of which are only there to access a different service, with no free will to choose! Similarly, Google + took the same approach, take the choice away from the user and they simply have to join us. 

The previous postings were correct, as paying customers, we deserve the right to choose to connect with another network and we should not be penalised based on our refusal. Its a simple right, to your customer base. 

I understand with a few billion invested in spotify and previous dealings with facebook, your allegience, is to both networks. However, is it not a simplistic, viable idea, to allow users the freedom to be members of spotify without restriction? 

Why should the paying member, be persecuted soley because they refuse to succum to the digital life? 

On behalf of all the members, we urge you to make progress on this issue and allow us to fully enjoy the service we pay for. 

Facebook is losing popularity, people want control!! Don't lose your business, by refusing a simple control!! It will happen, and Google Play Music, will take over.

Please add the ability to change your profile picture for facebook linked accounts. This is such a BASIC feature how on earth have you guys overlooked this?
