[Playlists] Sort List of Playlists alphabetically

How about ordering playlists alphabetically? I'm paying for this service and this feature is the most common and easiest one even for a free music player...

 2 weeks ago HCCK posted a way to sort PLAYLISTS on IOS mobile platform [I just tried it on an Iphone ... and it works] - THANKS, HCCK.    BUT I have been unable to do it on my APPLE MACBOOK --- is there a way to sort PLAYLISTS on APPLE COMPUTERS??

Yes but there isn't a way in iOS to sort the playlists while inserting new content to them.

Misare [and others], are you saying there IS a way to sort MY PLAYLISTS ALPHABETICALLY on an APPLE [Macbook] computer?   I was able to do it on my Iphone and Ipad, but don't see a way of doing it on my Macbook.

I recently made the switch to Spotify and am in my 3 month free-trial.  I use my Spotify primarily on my mac as part of the desktop app.  This has to be the single most frustrating part of Spotify so far.  When I previously used iTunes I had hundreds of playlists, but they were easy to sort through. Now, I have a mere 20ish playlists and it's a huge pain in the @ss to find the one I'm looking for.  To not have alphabetical sorting of playlist titles is a huge oversight, and honestly I am not sure if I'll continue using Spotify once my free trial is up if it isn't addressed.  I know that seems drastic, but it speaks to the general user-unfriendliness of this service in general... most of which I've gotten used to, but this is just absurd.

I don't think it works putting playlists in Alphabetical order using the Mac Desktop App but it does work on the app on the iPhone and thei iPad.......sorry about that but that is one of the downsides of using a playlist system over a CD/Album system and as I have said it was just a work around. Spotify are more likely to fix or amend the software to fix the Alphabetical sort on the Mac App than change their entire system to accommodate saving by CD/album system. Why not raise this as a new idea and see what response you get from Spotify......I suspect it will positive.......I for one would back it

Yes you can do this on the phone app but it doesn't work on the PC, nor does the sorting actually reorder the playlists across all devices.

Thanks for this. I regret that I cannot get a reply to a simple problem, namely listing playlists alphabetically. In fact I have many queries, but do not know where to ask them. 1. I can see how to look at replies, most unhelpful, but it is not clear how to ask questions. 2. How can I see details of what is being played? After a few words ... is not enough. 3. How can I get the grey line at the side (right) of information (the control to scan down material) more clear? 4. To where do I submit a query, to community etc.? Really my fundamental query is what is the best way to get beyond very basic queries in Spotify.

SPOTIFY MANAGEMENT, why don't you respond to questions and comments written here, even if you are repeating things you've written before?    AND, if/when you respond, PLEASE make it clear that it is SPOTIFY MANAGEMENT/EMPLOYEES who are responding.
