[Radio] Modifiable Thumbs up/down

1) Change Thumbs up to Thumbs Down

2) Change Thumbs down to Thumbs up

3) Remove thumbs up

4) Remove thumbs down

5) See a list of your thumbs up for a playlist

All of these should exist, if not in the app at least on the website.

Hey folks,

It seems like this idea has evolved into a lot of different threads over the years. Quite a lot of the features requested do exist, so I'm going to mark this as implemented - but if you feel like your specific idea isn't there please feel free to make a new idea

As a heads up, Thumbs up/down has been replaced by the Heart/Remove symbol across all platforms. Let's address some of the main ideas that have been implemented:

  • It is now possible to undo Heart or Dislike actions in your Daily Mixes, Discover Weekly and Release Radar. If you Heart a song, simply tap the Heart again to get rid of it.
  • When tapping the Dislike button, you'll get a choice of 'Don't play this song' or 'Don't play this Artist'. Tapping either will prompt an Undo option at the bottom of the screen for if you hit it by mistake, or your cat walked over your screen (@dredel)

  • Tapping Heart will save that song to Your Library, so you can head there to check out all the songs you've liked. This will also include Songs and Albums you've saved in other areas of the app. I couldn't find an idea for a playlist specifically of just liked songs (without the rest of the library) so it would be a good suggestion for a new idea.

I hope this clears some things up.

Please do this.

So, I accidentally clicked the thumbs down on the first 2 songs on the 90s Genre radio. 2 songs I absolutely love. There really needs a way to track or check the songs you click thumbs down on, in case a song grows on you....or you just plain **bleep** up like me. I thought I was clicking the continual play, and was goingt to select the random icon, but realized too late that on the radio station it changed to thumbs up & down.  Please fix this. Give us a chance to go to a page will all of our thumbs down selections, and change them.

Part of the problem is the placement of the thumbs up/down buttons. In the usual context the bottom-left corner button is to 'Add a song' to your library - a positive action. In the radio context the bottom-left corner is where the 'dislike' button is - an action to permanently remove a song. This is a terrible UX design decision, since a user's msucle memory is associated with the bottom-left corner location.

If it is too time consuming to add the like/dislike managemnt feature, the least you can do in the meantime is be consistent with your user interface. Swap the buttons around!

A bit mind boggling this hasn’t been sorted yet

Hard to believe this has been going for over five years and we still can't see a list of songs we've thumbed down, accidentally or not. It's happened so many times on radio, I'm sure I'm missing out on some great music because I can't remember the titles or artists!

I swear you could undo/redo thumbs up/down already? But in the Linux app, I realize I cannot! This seems like a high priority IMO. It's very frustrating to accidentally down-vote a song you really like.

Why is Spotify so god awful? The music choice seems better than Google Play Music but things like this will make it really hard to switch. I keep accidentally giving thumbs up because the choice are swapped with Google Play Music, but then I can't change my choice after, and I can only do thumbs up/down in certain places...

Hello Spotify team,

Are there any updates on this enhancement request? It would be great to be able to undo a thumbs up/down action as well as review the list of songs thumbed up/down.

Thank you

They won’t ever fix it. It’s been six years now.
