Why isn't there an option to just repeat a track? I hate having to place a song in a playlist of its own, and then put it on repeat which just repeats the playlist. People have been suggesting you add this feature for years now!

EVERY music app should have this feature! This feature should be on all the Spotify apps across all platforms.

Add it to the same button as now with a 3-step repeat mode:

1. Repeat ALL/PLAYLIST 
2. Repeat TRACK

3. Repeat OFF

If Spotify wants to compete with the competition, they need to add this basic feature!

It worries me that Spotify hasn't implemented this popular simple idea from 4 years ago, but instead they implement more complex newer ideas.

If you ask some people -- this has been a request since the launch of Spotify.

I love Spotify, but it hurts that a simple feature like this gets passed up every time new features are rolled out.

I feel like I'm living in the 1990s with no repeat track mode anywhere to be found within Spotify.

This is a basic feature and it's being looked at like a grain of salt. 

I comb through Twitter search every day and a lot of people are very confused on how the repeat mode works so I link them to this idea.

I've referred 50+ people now to the link... some didn't know that it only repeated the playlist.

This is very confusing for a lot of people, especially newcomers.

Very disappointing. You moved the repeat button 🔁 and now it takes extra steps to get to it. Put the repeat button next to the shuffle. Whoever is designing this is making this app more complicated than it needs to be. Also, the behind the music should either provide all the lyrics and have an option to turn off.

So this works when playing a song on Spotify, but as soon as i select my heos WiFi speakers to play it on or my Samsung buds. The repeat one song gets disabled...  Very very annoying! Fix that bug!

I've been using Spotify since it first launched and I finally joined the community forum just to leave this message.

Thank you so much for this feature and thread.

Though this feature was including a while ago, I must say that I've never noticed that it existed because the Repeat UI and UXD is still not very intuitive or informative.

The repeat button is located on the same control directly with other current track controls, as it is in so many other media players. As a result, to people like myself, the first intuition is that the green repeat icon will cause the track will be repeated, which is not what happens. In fact, if you were to never use playlists, this button would seem almost completely useless at first glance. In addition, the fact that Repeat Track and Repeat Playlist are controlled by the same control, using the same base icon, is very non-intuitive. At a minimum, it would really help if the Repeat Playlist ("Loop Playlist?") was separate from Repeat Once/Repeat Track, or at least have a much more pronounced UI difference between them (maybe a different icon or something).

Just a bit of unsolicited feedback, since I'm just now understanding how to work Repeat in Spotify after several years of use and finally Googling it out of curiosity. (I've wanted to use repeat in the past, but never so much that I felt it worth the effort to look up.)  Hopefully someone finds the feedback useful, but regardless, thank you so much! I'm so happy to understand how to use this now :).
