(iOS) Rename playlists

Implement the ability to rename playlists in the iOS app pls.

Hello everyone,

as mentioned, this should now be implemented.
At the top of the Playlist just tap on "Edit" and then on "Rename" to change a Playlist name.

How the heck is it possible that this has been a heavily requested topic for the last couple of years at minimum, and yet we STILL cannot do this in our app. You have added other features, like the Running feature, but you haven't taken the time to do this? I'm seriously disappointed.

Hi Spotify peeps, It took like 5 minutes for me to find this thread, log in, and make this comment on my phone. Please add this! Can't be that hard can it? Sounds like your API already supports it. Thanks.

I agree w/ everyone else here. It should be an EASY FIX to be able to rename playlists! I CAN DO IT on my Android(samsung galaxyIII), but when I use spotify on my iPad, that playlist will have NO title - which is even WORSE when you have ALOT of playlists. To even suggest starting a 'new' one and adding ALL THOSE songs to it is CRAZY and a waste of time. Im never on my laptop! 

Just seems like something that could be easily fixed but you guys at Spotify are always focusing on things no one cares about. Just my opinion.

Agreed. This is an annoying issue.  My wife and I only use Spotify on mobile and to not be able to edit the name of a playlist (for what ever reason) should be a non-issue.

I created a couple playlists before I realised I could name them. Like others on here, I also have a misspelled list, and I don't log onto a computer more than once or twice a year. The solution of deleting a playlist and recreating it is not at all helpful, especially if that playlist has followers. I love Spotify. My one complaint is not being able to change a playlist name from a mobile device. Please give us a solution!

It's 2015 and we are still unable to rename our playlists via mobile. Who even uses a laptop these days- it's all about tablets and mobiles. Surely it isn't so hard to add? We pay for this app and something so simple as to renaming a playlist isn't provided yet? Disappointed

I find it extremely annoying as well. I have a work computer but can't access Spotify on it through the firewall. All I have is my iPhone which I do pretty much everything non-work related on. It's so annoying that this problem hasn't been fixed by now. I'm paying for premium, please fix this!

Good news!

 

You can now rename playlists in version 3.9!

 

At the top of a playlist tap on "Edit" and then tap on "Rename".

Good news! Thanks Matt. I'll let you know how the 2 diff phones do after I try it out. (I have iPad and Galaxy 6)
