i can't believe it, no ipad app - i don't understand it - the development of the ipad app should be the most important project for them. hmmmmm spotify, please give us an answer, why not releasing an app.

Apparently it's "in the works" and coming "soon", according to Spotify CEO Daniel Ek. It's not their most important project. Making money is. They need these deals to be effective and interesting in the longer term. I wouldn't be surprised if they would not even consider launching the iPad app by hosting another event. They could just launch it, publish a blog post and all the blogs will go for it.

Everyone thought that Spotify would release the iPad app today, but no, a new partner was revealed, Coca-Cola. More commercial and less innovation and technology. Seriously!!! 

To bad that we don't have any good alternatives in Sweden, in USA they you don't have to choose this service, you could go for a mush better one, such as RDIO, who has a great iPad app. 

This is such a big joke that they don't have and all they say is they will release it soon, yeah right, one year later and still no app??? And they say that the phone app is really good for the iPad, I don't think that they looked at any iPad, especially the new with the retina display, every other big company has a great app customized for the iPad. 

It's like the iTunes store would rent out movies in VHS quality and call it 1080p.......

I am so tired of Spotify right now for this.

This is why I canceled my service, today. To call a press conference to announce an app is ridiculous. Spotify wanted a buzz over something that has no substance. Money is the most important thing to Spotify; not customer service. They are behind on apps such as: Rdio, MOG, Rhanpsody (!!!!!), Pandora, iHeartRadio and the biggest joke - Slacker. Coke and Spotify doesn't make any sense. I was a big fan until today, so I switched to MOG for two reasons. 1. iPad app that's beautiful!!!! 2. Larger catalog (all tracks with Sigur Ros ( ) for example.) Obviously, they don't actually care what customer's think and the choices that we have. What's keeping me with Spotify? Seriously, I'd like to know. In addition, there was a 'leaked' Spotify iPad screen shot about a week ago....just another expiable of why this company is now in my rear view. STOP RELEASING USELESS APPS AND CREATE APPS YOUR CUSTOMER BASE WOULD ACTUALLY USE!!!!
