This could be very useful! It is something that I thought about for a long time. A toggle switch or something for it to be locked so you cannot edit anything by mistake. Reordering song in playlist or deleting. Maybe a double check if you want to add new songs without unlocking the playlist could also be useful.

Yes! This please! I had this issue during a class and it removed one of my songs without me realizing 😭 lock feature would be a game changer for the fitness crew!

Yes please. I like to make album-style playlists that are finished at a certain point, and locking it would be nice to prevent any unwanted additions. I'm sure many people would enjoy this functionality for various playlists.
