I think Spotify would be more fun and like a community if we were able to comment on songs.  When finding new music it can get boring listening to so many songs all the way through but having comments to read through would help. And I think artists would enjoy seeing what people have to say about their music. It would also help you find people who have the same music taste as you. Hate comments could be a problem but you can ban people that leave hate comments or something.

Title: Unauthorized Plan Cancellation due to "Technical Issue" – Seeking Price Restoration

 

Hi everyone,

 

I’m looking for help from a Moderator to resolve a billing error that Spotify Support has already admitted was a "technical issue" on their end, yet they refuse to honor my original plan pricing.

The Issue:

 

On April 11, my Premium Family Plan was suddenly cancelled. I have been a loyal subscriber for a long time and my payment method was valid. When I contacted support, the agents (Roxann M and Krzysztof M) explicitly confirmed that:

 

1. There was a "technical issue with the payment provider" during processing.

2. The system failed to trigger the usual 10–15 retry attempts and instead instantly terminated my plan.

 

The Problem:

Because this was a system glitch and not a failure on my part, I am being told I have to "resubscribe" at the new, higher market rate. I don't feel it’s fair that a customer should lose their legacy pricing because of a verified Spotify technical error.

 

Requested Help:

I have chat logs and screenshots where support admits the fault lies with the system. I am looking for a manual override to reinstate my subscription at its original price point. Has anyone else successfully had their legacy pricing restored after a system error? If a Moderator could please look into my case, I would appreciate it.
