I know we can't pick and choose what ads to see, but at least for a teensy bit of decency (especially for people listening to spotify in a professional work environment) can we not have half naked Victoria's Secret super sexy models?

Personally, I could care less about ads. And in fact, I am a woman who shops at Victoria's Secret. Still- I just had an awkward moment with some coworkers AND my boss. I'd like very much for that not to happen again. In the very least, how about an image that isn't half the size of the window? 

I know no one's going to agree, and believe me, I'd be the last person to complain about spotify (it's awesome). But seriously, it's a bit much.

I'm switching to YT music. Getting horror ads, and ads referencing specific pornographic sites (even thought it's related to a lawsuit for underaged victims) are mortifying when you're listening to music out loud or just trying to relax. I don't mind regular ads, but these other ads are awful.

Thank You for your idea, I was searching for the same thing. I am tired of the Woke indoctrination & the pushing of the homosexual agenda despite the research & common sense logic that it is destroying lives. in any case, I am fine with my free use to be paid by ads but not push agendas, woke identity politics, or hypersexualized content.

Remove ads for horror and thriller movies, they play loud without warning and can be frightening for families with children or sensitivities.

While we are listening to the peaceful genre on Spotify Free, and the ad comes up, it's not a good experience, instead, if the system recognizes the genre as peaceful and a special type of ad comes? like a whispering noise, 'hey, sorry to interrupt you, but if you don't wanna see this further, get premium ;)' or something like that?

I would like it a lot better if when the commercials come on it wasn't the same **bleep**ing commercials over and over. Are you such idiots that you got no way to mix them up so it's not, not the same over and over

This was originally posted in 2012. It is 2024 and still nothing has been done from what I can tell. As a teacher, I like to play music in my classroom for my students and it is really hard to do so when inappropriate ads are coming on.

I would like to thank Spotify for making an easy decision for me. I am sick of seeing Kamala Harris as an advertisement. If you are going to be political, advertise for all presidential candidates not just Kamala Harris. This clearly shows to me Spotify owner and employees are one sided and don't care about anyone else's views or opinions. I will choose to use another radio program.  It is sad that Spotify has great music and the advertisements are tolerable. Now that it is political, I have no interest in listening or using Spotify any longer.

If you wish to keep your musical fans, advertise musical stuff. Or at least don't go political and especially not single-sidedly. Thank you.
