[All Platforms] Organize Liked Songs by genre

I like the new update where you can save music into the "Liked Songs" group where it sorts music by song, album, and artist. There should also be another filter: Genre. I listen to all different genres but there are times when I want to listen to only one type of music.

Agregar en los listados el poder ver el género de cada canción y/o el género pariente que creo es el termino correcto, esto para hacer playlist por géneros, y al igual filtrarlo en las playlist

Over 10 years since this was suggested and it still hasn't been implemented even after been marked as a good idea

In liked songs, I can filter by genres which I love. However it would also be really useful to be able to filter by more than one genre.

That’s okay as far as it goes, but I want to be able to create playlists by genre. I also want to be able to choose the genre of various songs. I might not necessarily agree with the general assignation assigned to a song.
Apple had all this years ago and much more besides, but all of that appears to have gone now as we live in this unintelligent, unthought through, simplistic, way of looking at things… lowest common denominator rules okay?

People who collect things like a music like to categorise their musics in various ways some of which are highly individualistic it is not an uncommon trait in collectors because they can often have many hundreds or indeed thousands of whatever it is they’re collecting and therefore it becomes important to be able to categorise those items by various means.

So there we are then. I saw the film on Spotify the people who created Spotify are very much like me but I wonder where that all went wrong? Compromise on top of compromise in order to make a few bucks well not a few an enormous amount of money.

Shame it doesn’t go to the artists though, I mean after all they only created the stuff. Hardly seems right that they should make a decent living out of it does it now?

This should be a thing! Would help my exploration of musics when needing something diff to mix in to my regular playlist by adding genres.

Lots of things should be added but in my experience they are slow to move on requests such as this…
