Music soulmate

Spotify should introduce a "Music Soulmate" feature in their yearly Wrapped, where they match you with a person—or even a small group—who shares the most eerily similar listening habits to yours. This would be based on factors like favorite artists, top genres, niche song choices, and even listening patterns (e.g., late-night lo-fi vs. morning rock anthems). To make it interactive, Spotify could let users connect through a playlist blending their shared favorites or even reveal fun stats about how closely their music tastes align.

I liked your suggestion. To be honest, I've been thinking about this idea lately too but in the form of an external app that connects users through Spotify (and even other music apps...) but it's a big project and I hope I'll have time to work on it in the future.

It would be very cool if Spotify did take the reins 🙂

I think this is a cute idea! But i fear creeps will ruin it and try to stalk the “soulmate” on other platforms or try to find them in real life… maybe it can be a thing where both people have to agree to show their profiles before it is revealed?

FYI y'all stats.fm app that shows your Spotify account info and stuff has a "Soulmate" tab 🙂
