[All Platforms] Sleep Timer

I am a new user to Spotify from NZ and the first thing I miss having moved from iphone's built in music player is the sleep timer. I understand this feature stopped working in one of the recent versions of spotify App. If it is a compatibility issue partly related to iOS 5, may I suggest that you build a sleep timer into the App itself? 

Also, as suggest by one other Spotify user, Nyx, it would be even better if you could include an alarm featuer so we can all wake up to our favourite playlists within Spotify.

Thanks again for all the great work you guys are doing and we really hope you would consider this new idea.

Update: The issue with sleep timer seems to be working in iOS 8.

I don't think this even exists in the android app, but would be a huge bonus. I use the 'sleep timer' app at present, but often forget to set it and there's no way it can be used as an alarm in the morning.  Also, would be even better if music can fade in/out for start and stop.

Without the sleep timer, I'm forced to use other music apps instead of Spotify. Even if they don't have the range of music, it's easier for me to fall asleep to it without being worried that it's going to interfere with my sleep pattern later (like it does if it keeps going all night).

Have a sleep/alarm feature would be AWESOME. I rarely use my own music collection anymore now that I have spotify and I would love to be able to sleep/wake up to it on my ipod/ipad the same way I do with my sonos. 😄 be great for when I am away from home.

We should also make this for android, i recently switched from Pandora One to Spotify Premium and I really miss the sleep timer and alarm clock, so these feautures should soon be put back

Oh please do this! I use other methods (Apple TV - iTunes radio) because Spotify can't do it.  But I much prefer Spotify and would love to have a "Sleep" playlist. Should be easy enough to implement?? IDK..

I agree. I use Spotify all this time,except when going to sleep, when I switch to Pandora ( which also has an alarm feature) I don''t like double paying and will not use the free service. I am considering canceling Spotify even though it is otherwise a superior service. Surely if Pandora can provide this service for half the cost Spotify can install a fix. Dfc
