[All Platforms] "Don't Like Button" should be added to all sections

Hello everyone,

I am not sure why it keeps changing between updates, although in the past Daily Mixes have the Like & Dislike button. But this time around it has been completely removed and is only available Under Your Weekly Discovery.

It would be nice if the "Don't Like Button" was added everywhere, from Weekly Discovery, Daily Mixes, even when searching specific songs, albums, genres etc. to better filter our music preferences.

Also I find on Android on the drop down menu the Don't like button rarely ever works and have to enter the app directly. Like always works perfectly fine.

I would appreciate it if this could be considered.

Thank you

What a joke. It's been over 2 years and no dislike button. Guess I'm quitting Spotify altogether. I'd rather listen to no music at all than support this incompetent team that can't implement basic features.

Reopen this please, it has a significant amount of votes, and would have a lot more if the hide song functionality even existed on the desktop app.

This sucks! Your algorithms keep playing the songs I never want to hear again. I'm looking at Youtube music pretty strongly right now.

iouonegirl

Implement it on all platforms, please.

I can't believe that this does not sync across devices. What's worse, this isn't even an option on the desktop.

This is ridiculous. Syncing must be a feature. More than that I tried to listen to music via my iPad and selected the songs on my iPhone where a song is hidden. On the iPhone the song is skipped, it tells me that the next song after the hidden one is played on the iPad but the very hidden song IS ACTUALLY playing there. Example: I have hidden song 3 , I start playing song 1 and 2 on the iPad, but I have selected the songs on my phone. Then in the visuals in my phone song 3 (hidden) is kipped, the phone tells me "song 4 is playing on iPad", but the iPad plays song 3.

Seriously?!

There are certain songs that I never want to hear again. Spotify should provide me the ability to select songs to never appear on any custom playlists. Additionally, they should ask why I do not want to hear certain songs so that on any future custom playlists, Spotify will not include the given song or songs like it.

Is this still being looked at? It is the 13th top-rated Idea from what I can tell, has 4,500 +Votes, but the last update was 2.5 years ago. This was actually one of the reasons I stopped using the Desktop app initially. I just recently came back to it and found that this still isn't implemented after purposefully being removed 3-4 years ago. It is a pain having to go to my phone to hide/dislike a song on my playlists so I can stop listening to it and improve my recommendations.

Personally I think Spotify is just ignoring us all when it comes to this matter, I bet it has something to do with artist agreements. The "dislike/never play" finction worked a few years ago, just bring it back. SO many people want this functions, why is not being implemented? Spotify actually in the black in 2022, spend a little money to add this feature. I am not a developer, but I don't see a function like "block song" is that big of an ask. I can't stand a few times and it really seems like the songs are played more than others. IS there some kind of way you track skips?

If I hear the songs I hate a few more times on Spotify, I’m going to cancel my subscription and delete my account.
