[All Platforms] "Don't Like Button" should be added to all sections

Hello everyone,

I am not sure why it keeps changing between updates, although in the past Daily Mixes have the Like & Dislike button. But this time around it has been completely removed and is only available Under Your Weekly Discovery.

It would be nice if the "Don't Like Button" was added everywhere, from Weekly Discovery, Daily Mixes, even when searching specific songs, albums, genres etc. to better filter our music preferences.

Also I find on Android on the drop down menu the Don't like button rarely ever works and have to enter the app directly. Like always works perfectly fine.

I would appreciate it if this could be considered.

Thank you

After 5 years, and almost 6k votes it seems to be going backwards. They recently removed the hide button from more locations. I want to "Hide", "Dislike" "Remove" Don't Play this song" whatever it is.. As easily as I can "Like" or "Heart" a song.

I believe the Spotify **bleep** now even have removed the possibility to "Like" or "Heart" anything. You can only "Plus" or "Minus" things now, which either adds them to a playlist or makes them skip. I have a feeling that this is some insane kind of George Orwell Newspeak agenda.

This thread is legit insane, all it tells me is that Spotify gives zero f**** about their users.  So many people for 4 years asking for this thing and Spotify is in full ignore mode.  Get your stuff together man.

I've been a subscriber for years. This may break me though, as I have a song that I HATE and it follows me everywhere. Damn near every single mix, made for me list, daylist, etc, it's there.

Please make it stop as it's preventing me from selecting my music. This feature is available in competitor streaming music services.

Five years and the only response spotify has is go **bleep** yourself

If on hide a song on one device, who would i want to hear it on any other device? If you must have s hide by device option, There should another option to "hide on all devices"

I want to delete/block songs in a way that they can no longer be played for me unless I unblock them. There are some songs (like Blood Mary) that are really offensive to me, but they are part of my style and come up all the time. I don't care about the artists, I don't even know their names, but I know there are other songs I like that are on their playlists. I don't want to block the artist, I want to block the song itself.

I must express my disappointment in the recent changes that led Spotify to remove the dislike button and only allow a "hide" option under the three dots to the right of songs in certain versions of its app (that works on my IOS app on iPhone, but is nowhere to be found on my Windows desktop computer Spotify app).  As a family plan user, I pay over $21 monthly for Spotify and want to retain key features that have made Spotify worthwhile over the past decade (Believe me, I've been brand loyal and loved the app primarily because its algorithm and suggestions have been on point and steerable via feedback in both "like" and "dislike" manners). If key steering features like the dislike button (and even the new "hide" option) continue being removed, then my reasons for remaining a subscriber will be reduced as well.  If you are going to keep increasing our monthly or annual subscription fees, then you should not be reducing our options but rather increasing them!
