Bring profile stats (top artists/tracks & recently played) to mobile & tablet

Right now, Spotify users can only view their profile insights—such as top artists this month and top tracks this month—through the desktop app and web app. This feature is not available on the mobile or tablet apps, even though that’s where most of us spend the majority of our time listening to music.

Having these stats on mobile and tablet would...

Enhance the listening experience: Mobile users can easily keep track of their listening trends without needing a computer.

Encourage music discovery: Seeing your top artists and tracks in real-time makes it easier to share, revisit, and explore related music on the go.

Support playlist building: Curators often use these insights to create playlists, and having this information readily available on mobile would make the process much smoother.

Keep consistency across platforms: Spotify already provides this feature on desktop/web—extending it to mobile creates a seamless experience no matter which device is being used.

Also, since most listeners interact with Spotify primarily through their phones and tablets, it feels like a natural step to bring this feature to those platforms. It would make tracking our personal music journey more accessible and engaging everywhere.

Hi dburt218

There are two sites you can use to get this information from you mobille or tablet.

I prefer statforspotify because it shows movement. I have been taking screenshots of my 'Top Tracks' since July 2024.

Both sites can give you Top Tracks for 28 days, 6 months & 12 months. You also get 'Top Artists', Top Genres and more.

If that isn't enough choice there's also this article to check out from Sept 2023

I have my latest screenshot showing movement over 24 hours. My top tracks are affected by other listeners who have saved my main playlist. I format that accordingly. This creates an evolution of new music. Feel free to join our team.

While the screenshot below is taken from my desktop to capture our top50. I works fine from a mobile. Though you'll likely have the top 12 on a std 9-16 screen, If you wanted to share in socials while you're on the go.

There is a Spotify feature that does just that. It's called "Sound Capsule".

Spotify Sound Capsule

It was launched in 2024 but it's only available in a few markets for now (Brazil, India, Indonesia). No one knows when this feature will expand to new markets.
