[Connect] Crossfade on Spotify Connect

Please add Crossfade option while using Spotify Connect!!!

Why not have this option while using Connect???

Think of it, you use CONNECT when you want to send Spotify music to your sound system(i.e: CONNECT compatible Audio amplifier/receiver) when you're having a party. Wouldn't you want continuous playback in this kind of use??

I really do not understand why I would not be able to use this feature because I'm using the your streaming service with a compatible device which is partner with Spotify!!!

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!! PLEASE!

Does anyone know of another music service that allows crossfade with connected devices?  I have an Onkyo connected receiver and could hook up a google music or something like that.

Please add crossfade to spotify connect.  It makes the experience much more enjoyable and the other music subscriptions allow it.

thanks!

I spent four hours trying to find out what's wrong with my crossfade until I found out it wasn't avaliable on Playstation 4. I could have been spending all that time listening to music ffs.

this should have been basic. Crossfade is THE party-option, so not being able to use it through connect is ridiculous in my opinion...

Any update on this? Spent ages crafting a playlist for our New Year's Eve party, and have only now found out we can't use Spotify Connect on all the speakers around the house - only when we play it on a phone. Cmon Spotify, there are 350 people that want this feature, and it's pretty basic!

Hi there,
with Apple, I managed my spotify party playlist with Airplay
then crossfade works.
and the sound quality is (to me) rather similar to spotify connect.
have a great party

Unfortunately using airplay on multiple speakers with home entertainment like Yamaha MusicCast does not allow you to play on more than one speaker, whereas using Spotify connect allows you to stream the music to unlimited speakers in the house - this makes a huge difference for a house party.

Good lord, unbelievable that this is still not possible. Volume normalisation also not availible when using connect (which is basiclly always). Seems that Deezer and Google Play don't have these features as well.
