[Desktop][Connect] Spotify integration in Siri for MacOS Catalina

Hello all,

The idea is really simple: Spotify can now be controlled with Siri for IOS, but not with Siri for MacOS. It would be very appreciated if the Spotify staff would look into this option and keep their customers up to date on the subject, as I believe this is a very much requested option. It's quite frustrating knowing that a Spotify function is available on a 200$ old iPhone but not on a  brand new 3000$ MacBook. If it's simply not possible to integrate Spotify in Siri for MacOS, then it is what it is, but at least find a way to keep in touch with the customers about what steps have been taken and will be taken.

This needs to be done. I need to control Spotify with Siri on macOS too. If this is not gonna happen soon, I am gonna switch to Apple Music.

I think the user insited put his finger in the wound with his commentary: spotify was developed with a technology stack that apparently prevents the app store from going through successfully. sad sad that Spotify with the financial and personal background of development resources has not been able to change that in all these years. maybe you are hiding behind the argument that apple would hinder music apps in the appstore to push your own apple music, but why is spotify in the appstore for iOS which is the much more important market for apple? rescue from a completely different corner may now be approaching: with apple silicon and the new M1 processor, it will be possible to run iOS apps under macOS ... maybe the iPhone app including Siri will finally be able to run on the mac.
