[Desktop] Please make Spotify Kids available on desktop and web

Please open up Spotify Kids to web and Mac, Windows, and other supported major computer platforms.   My kids don't have phones but instead have locked-down laptops that they're using for schooling.  It would be awesome if they could also  begin to understand them as music and fun tools as we adults do.

Great idea! Having Spotify Kids on web browser would be a step forward to solve the frustrating fact of not having Spotify Kids on Amazon PlayStore, therefore available for kids using the Fire Amazon Kids via parenting control/web access. I've got the feeling that doing that should be very difficult. Hope it comes soon!

Like the OP [  pop6wkjs-u_0j ] said, we too have kids only on Windows devices. They're too young to be on anything without parental supervision i.e. mobile Android devices. Laptops in the lounge room are their only option.
It's not acceptable that my children can't make use of the Premium Family account I'm paying for (!) because Spotify hasn't had the forethought and consequence recognition that their lack of software releases present. Yes, I'm feeling ripped off!
Spotify, generate and release your Spotify Kids app for the Microsoft Store today! It is 2020 already!

I would second this immensely! I'm really interested in the Spotify family plan, but cannot switch unless my kids have a method for playing. Like OP, my kids are using laptops (mac) with virtual schooling for the indefinite future. Without this feature, we're stuck using Apple Music (which has a family plan that they can use), and let's face it, while that's less good for discovery than Spotify, its hard to justify the extra cost to have family Apple + individual Spotify.

My son is 11, he's too young to usw the "regular" Spotify and he has a Windows Laptop but no Smartphone or iPad and he really likes to listen to audio dramas and music on Spotify Kids...

So we can't use our Spotify Family account for all family menbers even though we pay for it. That's really annoying.

I am actively looking for an alternative streaming service that allows kids to stream music without using one of the adults accounts. I am not buying an iPad for each child. Surly it’s not that hard to make the kids app available on more platforms?

Totally agree with other parents here. Could also be interested to be able to migrate the user account kids to adult when they pass 12 years as well.

What is the status of this idea now? Still new idea?

I'm paying for a family plan and can't get the value of my family since the Kids app has limited availability and they can't use it with our Google Home.  My kids have MS Surfaces so they have no way to leverage their kids account.
