Enable Hotkeys Through Miniplayer

It's a bit annoying how the main Spotify window has to be visible and selected in order to make use of the full set of hotkeys. And, of course, one of the key benefits of the miniplayer is NOT requiring the main window to be open in order to perform basic actions like pause, skip, etc.

As far as I can tell, the only hotkey that sorta works via the miniplayer is the spacebar for pause/play, and that's only after one would have already hit the corresponding button once in order to establish focus.

While I understand some hotkeys wouldn't be compatible with the miniplayer, it would be great if the most basic ones would work with it, as it feels like a logical extension of their utilization. And I can't imagine this would take much time or effort to implement since the hotkeys would already be programmed to the main window.

yes, please allow Spotify's keyboard shortcuts to work through the mini player!!
