Hi Spotify Team,
I'm a big fan of the platform and wanted to share some feedback around a use case I've been trying to achieve — and I think it's one other users would love too.
I've been experimenting with creating a personalized listening session that interleaves my favorite daily podcasts (Up First by NPR, CNN 5 Cosas, and What a Day) with music tracks from my listening history. The ideal experience would be a structured queue like this:
• Latest episode of Up First → 3 songs
• Latest episode of CNN 5 Cosas → 3 songs
• Latest episode of What a Day → remaining music
I tried building this manually by adding specific podcast episodes to a playlist alongside music tracks, and it worked great on day one. However, since playlists store static episode references rather than a dynamic "always fetch latest episode" rule, the playlist became stale the following day.
I also tried using the AI playlist prompt feature, but it currently doesn't support mixed podcast and music content in a single playlist.
