Landscape for mobile

My Idea:

Give us back landscape mode.  On our phones.  Having it vertical looks like we are holding our phones to the new AI lap cameras while driving if the phone is in vertical.  You can cause us to get 500.00 Tickets.  So if I drive through one of these new lap camera's and the AI see's phone in vertical mode on my dash and I get a ticket.  You bet.  My legal team is going to send you each and every ticket I get because of your lazy coding.  If phone is in landscape it blends in with dash.   Vertical it sticks up like a sore thumb.

As for drop it down more.  I can not.  my Vents are top of dash.   It's a 2021 Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab TRD Off Road.  With phone mount at the head unit.  Moving the phone anywhere else it gets in the way of my functions.  Plus I like having it 

Don't give me it can't be done.  my Tablet still goes landscape.  you just turned off the function on phones.  like you look at the screen resolution go hey it's a phone block rotation.

hope that the Spotify mobile app can support landscape mode, so that when the phone is turned horizontally, the app interface will also rotate accordingly

Yes, please 🙏. I just did a workaround hack with Tasker. It's pretty much exactly what @Dainese said. Spotify has an orientation request set which unless you override it will force Now Playing activity to be portrait. But if you ignore it, you can rotate it. The devs just have to implement the fill. For now I have to also change the density to trick it into thinking my phone is a fold/tablet and ruin my home screen each time the density updates . Even an updated view with the now playing not fully expanded would be better than what we have now

The Spotify app now supports landscape mode on smartphones. However, the music playback screen does not support landscape display. I think it needs to be updated to support landscape mode.

So far as i know mobile app had a landscape mode in playbackscreen. Why is it gone? Hope it comes back =(
