Let us remove & disable Smart shuffle in queue

UPDATE 9th Jan 2025: Spotify has changed the functionality and UI of the queue and now it’s super easy to use and looks beautiful!
Only thing left to do is letting us remove and disable „Smart shuffle“ from the queue please!

 

Can we please have a proper beautiful, easy to use queue on the apps? One that we can easily swipe up/down like on YouTube Music:

 

This is useless Spotify. I never use this ugly queue because I hate to use it. It’s by far the worst queue of all music streaming apps I’ve tried.

I just got this amazing upgrade of queue UI and it’s so nice and easy to use, while looking beautiful!
Praying that it stays and they don’t remove it like they often do…

 

Now if only they would let us remove and disable this annoying „Smart shuffle“ permanently…

Good news! Spotify has listened to user feedback and you can now disable Smart Shuffle from the mobile app settings, as mentioned in this now implemented idea. This setting will also be added to the desktop app in a future update.

Steps to disable Smart Shuffle in the mobile app:

1: Tap on your profile picture at the top left corner

2: Tap on Settings and privacy

3: Tap on Playback

4: Switch Include Smart Shuffle in play modes off

Note: This is for Premium users only and right now it's only available in the mobile app, but in a future update, there will be a setting to disable Smart Shuffle in the desktop app as well.
