I've been using Spotify for years and I recently have moved to a more minimalist type of "smart" phone called LightPhone 2. I just wish there was a way to download spotify music and podcasts to my phone.

The comments requesting this collab with LightPhone keep on coming, but I haven't seen any progress comment from Spotify.  Any plans in the works with LightPhone on this?  Would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see something implemented where I can utilise my Spotify account with my Lightphone, which I can't currently stream my much-desired music on.  Cheers.

Just bumping this! I really want to switch to a Light phone and Spotify is the one thing that is giving me pause.. However, I would consider getting a Light Phone and only playing Spotify on my computer, but it will limit my Spotify use. I think a lot of us are getting burned out by constant screens and social media apps.

nearly two years since Spotify's update...probably safe to assume this is a dead idea which is super sad. I'd love to be wrong.
