Make Home Screen Less Busy By Reducing Recommendations

My Spotify Home screen on my iphone has over 20 categories of recommendations and over 100 recommendations.  Five of those categories and maybe 25 of those recommendations are for podcasts which I do not listen to on Spotify.  I must flip past podcast recommendations I have no interest in to get to the music which is why I subscriber to Spotify.  Too many recommendations are as bad as too little.  Prioritize the recommendations and make fewer.  Or, better yet, give your subscribers a little agency and individual control by allowing them to remove shows and categories of shows from recommendations and to direct that no recommendations be based on certain shows.  Amazon provides this flexibility to its customers.  It would be good deeds and good business for Spotify to do at least as much as Amazon.

The interface is so cluttered with suggestions and "music for you" it's hard to find albums Ive saved. I don't want recommendations unless I ask for them. And if I ask, it's not going to be the Kingston **bleep**ing Trio!
