Make status bar and navigation bar transparent on Android

Currently on the Spotify app, the status bar has a transparent black bar, and the system navigation bar/menu is black. 

I think it would look cleaner if the status bar and system navigation bar were fully transparent like in iOS.

PLEASE!! this has been my pet peeve of spotify for YEARS. it will be so quick to fix and make the ui look so much cleaner.
