The platform is increasingly flooded with AI-generated songs (especially the Release Radar), making it harder for users to discover authentic, human-created music. To improve the listening experience, Spotify should introduce a clear label for AI-generated songs and provide an option to filter them out entirely.

I was a Premium subscriber, but since Spotify started putting AI-generated music into “Discover Weekly” and “Release Radar,” I’ve canceled my Premium subscription.

Hey Spotify I’m flooded with AI slop in the playlists. It’s very noticeable as it’s very generic boring music. It’s so annoying that I’m looking around for another platform which allows filtering, and once I found it, will be out of here.

The hypocrisy of Spotify is mind-blowing. They’ve declared war on "artificial listeners" (bots) to protect "integrity," yet they roll out the red carpet for "artificial creators" (AI profiles).

The logic is completely broken: you’re banned for being a bot while listening, but you’re perfectly welcome to be a bot while profiting. By allowing AI-generated noise to be monetized and even boosted, they are literally siphoning royalties away from human artists who actually put in the work.

If Spotify is so obsessed with AI "music," they should just create a closed ecosystem where AI bots generate content for other AI bots to consume. But they won’t do that, because they know there’s no money in it—they need real human listeners to pay the bills while forcing us to filter through this digital trash.

Music is human communication. The moment you replace the creator with software, you kill the only reason people use the platform in the first place.

I found that Deezer filters out AI slop. I just signed up and transferred my entire Spotify library over. Listening to my favorite tracks using Deezer. Vote with your feet folks!

@Hd2025 Welcome to the rebellion. Yeah, Deezer was the first to filter, flag and demonitize slop factories way back in June, took them a whopping 2 months after announcing the flood of AI submissions they were receiving in April.

You keep your money in your shoes, I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little grossed out right now... Heh... as the man said, let your money talk, walk!

C'mon Spotify... don't be the last to do this like you normally are when others implement important requests.  Lead by example, people want the option to filter AI song out!

Audio content generated by artificial intelligence is nothing like a software synthesizer. The two have nothing in common. A software synthesizer is an instrument, created for performing melodies and expanding a musician’s creative possibilities. It does not replace the human element, it supports it. Artificial intelligence, on the other hand, is not an instrument. It does not assist the creative process, it substitutes the human factor entirely. This is where most people get confused.

With the rise of so‑called “AI artists” flooding platforms with generated tracks, AI has effectively replaced everyone involved in music creation — singers, producers, musicians, composers. And the result is obvious: a massive wave of content that, in terms of sound quality and artistic value, is overwhelmingly poor.

Everyone is talking about Deezer, so I think I'm gonna check it out; and if it has the artists I listen to, then I'm leaving Slopify. You literally DGAF about paying customers (I've been paying for about 8 years... well done guys on losing a long term customer 👏). I'm a software dev and it's easy AF to enable a "filter AI trash" feature, but it seems too difficult for your devs. Instead you let your platform be spammed and flooded by 30+ year old AI losers (even though you "claim" to remove this content - *cough* BS).

CLEARLY Spotify doesn't know that at least 80%+ of music listeners DON'T WANT TO HEAR AI!!!!!!!!!! Let the simpletons listen to their AI slop, but I have zero interest in this trash.

@Vasil you've had almost 6 months from your post, yet your team can't enable 1 feature 🤣🤣🤣
