Modular interface components / custom UI layout for desktop

I have a Corsair Xeneon Edge that I use to keep Spotify accessible beside my primary monitor.  The high resolution and slim horizontal form factor means Spotify is just barely useable with its fixed interface.

I would love a "custom interface" toggle that allows a user to drag and drop components of the interface, enlarge or reduce their sizes independently, etc., so that we can arrange the info panes, controls, and content browsing panes exactly where we need them for our specific setup and monitor sizes.

Think of something along the lines of the current Adobe products like Illustrator or Premiere. You can move around almost any panel, resize it, etc.

also to add on : if there were a way to fully close the now playing panel, the same way you can for friends listening, that would be amazing!!
