More columns features

Hi Spotify!

When you open a playlist, you can see the name of the song and the artist. On a desktop, if you press the arrow that opens a list that says "column", you can select what you would like to be displayed in your playlist. At the moment, we have:

  • Album
  • Date added
  • BPM
  • Key
  • Duration

I'd like to request that we have the date the song was released on there as well!

I know you can see it if you go to the album of the song, but to have the option to see it in your playlist would be pretty cool in my opinion! Thank you

I understand that there is an aesthetic in your apps, which is very good and easy to read, but as a long-time subscriber, I would like to have a view that would be a little more detailed, adding more columns, like times played, when a track was last played, and other like details.  I have a large playlist (1,700+ tracks) that I play on shuffle everyday and it's quite obvious that a number of tracks get played more often that others and I would like an option for a workaround.

I have been adding songs to a Dance playlist. But I also always keep a per year playlist. And I bet I've been adding new songs to my Dance playlist and forgetting to add the new releases to my 2026 playlist. I wish I didn't have to go to each album's details to see when the song was released.

How about a column with "random" numbers, so when you sort that column, it will do a better job of mixing up the playlist and then you could play it like a book, picking up where you left off last.  That way you can play the entire playlist, hearing all the seemingly hidden tracks that the shuffle function can't seem to find.
