Music comments

Now I hate to use another music platform as an example, but Soundcloud has a feature that allows you to see comments on a song. Why do want this on Spotify? In my personal opinion I think that comments are something that is just nice to see because I like seeing what other peoples thoughts are on a song. Allowing comments would allow a user to see the general public reaction to a song. Example: I like this song, I'm debating whether or not to show it to someone. I check the comments to see what other people have to say about it, if the comments are positive I'm more to likely to listen to the song and share it to others

Cons: Negative feedback and bad spam on certain artists.  fix: block spam, filter certain words, have a message before a user comments saying that you will be banned from commenting if the comment is harsh towards the artist

You could even make a feature that allows the user to turn it on and off if you want to see the comments or not. Like a hide comments button

Pleeease when can we get this... Ive waited so long for a comment section.

hate to have to go to youtube to see other peoples reactions. Also think that the spotify  comment section could potentially be even more vibrant and focused on spotify than youtube. In my experience the views on youtube are fewer than spotify for a specific song

Hi, i am a proud user of Spotify. But right now it feels like Spotify need to add some feature. Feature, like chat section and comment section under songs. It will engage young user like me more. If i can chat with my friends in Spotify that will be a big help. Please let me know what you think

With this feature, users would be able to leave comments on their own playlists or on public playlists created by others. This would allow:

• Listeners to share their thoughts and reactions

• People with similar music tastes to connect

• A more social and engaging environment within the platform

Comments could be moderated according to Spotify’s content policies, and playlist creators could choose to disable or manage them.

This kind of interaction is already appreciated on platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud. I believe it would be a valuable addition to Spotify as well.

Should give a comment section. That would help listeners to add their comments in songs and albums. It'll make spotify very much interactive or else spotify will remain in the backgrounds forever.

Be able to comment and interact on public playlists/songs in a playlist to encourage music sharing and more community in the app. This would set Spotify miles apart from other streaming apps

Adding comments sections to songs opens up a whole new world for music. Spotify is BY FAR the largest streaming service, adding comments would effectively help create a community among listeners, allowing them to give background info just like Genius already does, but also suggest similar songs and connect with people of similar interests.
