Option to customize folder covers

This new Spotify feature that lets you create folders to organize playlists is a total game-changer! It has completely improved my experience because now I can keep everything sorted by genre, mood, or year, instead of scrolling through an endless list of single playlists. It makes the library look so much cleaner and way easier to navigate.

I honestly love this function! To make it absolutely perfect and 100% customizable, the only thing missing is the option to set a custom cover for these folders, just like we do with individual playlists. Other than that, Spotify really nailed it with this update!

The folder function has been around for a few years on desktop, so I’m glad they finally added the option to create them and such on phones too. But the customisation of the image has been something we’ve been asking for, for a while. Hopefully this means they’re starting to focus on it more and will hopefully implement the option to add cover art. It will definitely help with keeping things organised and nicer looking.

Yes absolutely. I have so many folders and it gets tiring on my eyes looking at the names itd be so mich better to have custom images and even the creation tools from spotify

It's an eyesore, my playlists all have a theme and matching images and there is just random gray springing out at you

Elarose

We know they have the ability to implement it to playlists, it would be very simple to do the same to folders

Yes I also want custom images for folders please spotify! 🙏

I've put all my

"Your Top Songs xxxx" yearly wrapped playlists starting from 2016 to 2025 into one big folder and I want to put a custom image on the folder to show off my almost ten year collection. 🥳

This really needs to be a feature, the folder icon looks awful. Even if it did the default playlist thing of just splitting the image into quarters and displaying what's inside
