[Other] Toggle on/off the dynamic background color of the lyrics feature.

Hi,

It’s a bit sad to see the similar ideas have been closed. But it shows that other folks have the same feeling as me. We all enjoyed the lyrics function. However, some of the background colors are too bright to watch.

I was hoping that there is a toggle to turn on/off the dynamic color. And, when turning it off, I can choose a color I like as the fixed background color.

It doesn't have to be a request from community, its a very bad design.

you guys made an overhaul of Spotify app recently and did great job on that and yet overlooked a simple thing,

please at least give an option to turn off dynamic background, Thanks.

Hey everyone,

We got this one wrong. While Lyrics has been rolled out globally, there currently is no option to change the background color for Lyrics and we’re therefore changing this Idea back to ‘Good Suggestion’.

It's rather amazing you guys require the community suggest a change that is literally braindead common sense.

You don't need to wait for the community to reach a certain vote on a suggestion before you even start to consider putting this change on the roadmap.

Just take a look at this:

This is a completely useless feature. Who even thought ANY color would make for a good background when reading text?

Is there any way to change the background color from red to anything else? More muted color options please. After a minute of reading the lyrics, any other part of the screen looks weird and my eyes hurt. Let us change the color. Whose idea was it to make it bright red anyway?
