I think there should be a Spotify feature for the Apple TV, similar to the Netflix App which is available. As currently, the only way Spotify can be played on the Apple TV is through AirPlay which requires an iPod Touch/iPhone.

I placed my vote. Seeing other companies have their app means there is a request for others to have it. Would love to see Spotify do something similar. Maybe throw in a visualizer function too?

I would really like this feature. Airplay is not as stable as I would like, thereby making the music drop out periodically depending on the environment, and the only solution is to switch to Apple Music which I do not want to do.

I would like to see a Spotify app on Apple TV I think it would be good for Spotify sales and customers. Eg I’m a disabled person , I’m fortunate I can use my hands and fingers but there are other disabled people and other customers who aren’t as dexterous with their hands or fingers and an app would be really beneficial to them rather than using airplay or having to use a mobile if they find difficulty

Why does it take so long until user votes are implemented ? As always, this is only about money. Should have been there a long time ago.

I love Spotify and your product and platform is in my opinion miles ahead of the competition. However, AppleTV is not a small platform anymore and airplay isn’t sufficient enough.

Please provide support for this plattform and show Apple that you’re the true service for music even on their platforms.

Time to make this happen?

Case been going on since 2012 and still no app available. There is plenty of other streaming-services available on the platform and AppleTV is not the small market that it once was.

Roughly 8000 votes and top 10 in most voted features but no new information since start of 2018. Please provide an update at least.

This has to be the most ridiculus treatment of a customer request I have ever seen....

Every now and then I reactivate my Spotify account only to end up here and see how the amount of request have grown and for how long Spotify has refused to implement this.

This has become a joke. Seeing how Plex (www.plex.tv) treats it customer request (hint, they have a client everywhere) vs Spotify and comparing the amount of developers working on each platform it becomes clear how much this is just a polical issue. In other words, get over your personal issues and fix this.

Just finally listen to your customers demands, please. It’s getting ridiculous. The only way to be a sustainably great company is to do what’s great for your customers not what’s great for your internal politics. This topic is getting so surreal! Please give me the choice to move from AppleMusic to Spotify. All I and thousands of others need is a native AppleTV App!

Reading status ‘Not right now' seem like a lazy statement.

I wonder what could be more important than supporting Apple eco system whether Apple TV or Homepod. 

I can see Spotify chose to support LG smart TV and Bose sound bars which have the crappiest SDK support out there which makes this project status seem more of a stand than priority decision.
