Performance-Based Editorial Playlist Integration

Proposal:

Allow artists to use Playlist Ad performance data to pitch songs to Spotify’s editorial team. Metrics such as upvote percentages and organic engagement can serve as indicators of a track’s potential, ensuring that high-quality, audience-vetted submissions are considered for editorial playlists. And implementation of all my ideas together as system

Benefits:
• Data-Driven Selection: Editorial teams can make informed decisions based on proven audience engagement, enhancing playlist quality.
• Artist Opportunity: Artists with compelling performance metrics have a clearer pathway to editorial features, promoting merit-based advancement.

 

By implementing these proposals, Spotify can enhance transparency, prevent fraud, and provide equitable monetization opportunities for playlist curators, benefiting the entire music streaming ecosystem.
 
I believe this and my other ideas combined will improve the many challenges artist, spotify, curators, and distribution companies face with illegal botted streams. I’ve attached my original proposal to this. It was removed for violating community guidelines. Too many ideas put together. Feel free to share, add ideas in the comments, or improvements.
