[Playlists] Sorting Options for List of Playlists

I would love to be able to sort my playlists by Artists, then drill down by album so as not to clutter my Spotify. It's pretty hard to organize my playlists the current way. Any ideas on a future iteration that will enable this capability?

Slight update to this idea, which we think is worth highlighting. With the recent update to Your Library on mobile, it's now possible to sort and filter your Playlists, Artists and Albums in more ways. 

 

To find the filters, just pull down on the tab you're on, select filters and then choose the one you'd like. The 'Custom Order' filter on the Playlist section will mirror the order you have on Desktop - which means it's now possible to maintain the way your organise your tunes on Desktop across to Mobile. 

 

We'd recommend checking out this Spotify Answer for tips on how to add playlist folders using the desktop app. They're super handy for keeping your music organized.

 

With the search function at the top it's also possible to drill down by Artist in your Album section. To do so, just pull down and type the name of the artist you're looking for. 

 

Will now mark this idea as Implemented.

Please, I only want to push songs up and down on playlist.  Oooooh the power on a premium account should be pronounced by the ability to show us what you can do.

Hey everyone, we're back just checking in as this idea hasn't had an update in a while. The original request for the ability to sort playlists by 'artists' and 'albums' is not something we have in our current plans. We're therefore keeping this status at 'Not Right now'.

Dear Spotify,

I am afraid I have to complain about your services. First of all the customer service seems very poor to me since I did not find a way to contact Spotify directly but only through this "community".

Secondarly I am using Spotify a lot and I like the general idea of managing your favourite music with it. That is why I was considering to get the premium account but there quite a few things which keep me from doing it.

There is this "sorting playlist by alphabet" option discussed in this thread which is sooooooooooo basic. I cannot believe that it is still not available yet but also on "NOT NOW" status!!!
Also the songtext option on desktop is not available since a while, which I liked so much.
Please Spotify change and make an improvement! I like Spotify in general very much but lately you got me nuts a little.

Sheesh is right!  I am a new user searching for a way to alphabetize - AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T DONE IT YET!  Users have been asking since 2012!!!  How annoying!  What's the problem - don't wanna let go of some of your profits to fix this simple problem?

playlist folders are easy to make if anybody is looking for that sort of thing. you can have all your playlists for a certain theme or artist in one spot.

Can't belive that something this basic needs to be a feature request and its still herre 4 years later.

The inability to sort playlists on the desktop is super annoying. Pleae fix this. thanks.

I have numerous playlists, using my Desktop -> how is ordering playlists alphabetically not a thing? We should have the ability to sort playlists any way we wish.

Spodify should work on its suffle program because I am not hearing the songs that I have added to it and barely ever hear the songs I have at the bottom of my playlist.
