Playlist specific settings (crossfade and playback)

To be able to right click on a playlist and choose whether to enable crossfade for that rather than the app entirely. Also the presets thing would be great to be able to set for each playlist.

Could come under a "playlist settings" menu like how make private/public works right now.

Exactly what I'm looking for, +1 from me

My idea:
with my idea it should be possible to decide individually and yourself for which self-created playlist you want to have the crossfade function (the crossfade function makes that the songs in a playlist have a seamless transition from one song to another) and for which not.

Please vote for this Idea because I need it for some important playlists like: Reanimation (CPR)               But I don’t want it on all of my playlists.

Thanks to everyone.

So I was listening to an album which has song transitions and I was wondering if you spotify devs could make it so the artist can select a specific crossfade and/or transition to make their albums more inmersive. Each artist can select a specific configuration for their albums/EPs. Even with songs that are played in repeat if the song end matches it's begining.

Hello,

In Spotify, one can change their song crossfade in settings > playback > crossfade which allows a 1 to 12 second crossfade between songs. This provides a smooth listening experience with less of an audible pause between songs. However, different genres of music can benefit from this tool differently and therefore adding a global crossfade is inefficient as it needs to be changed when switching between music types. If the creator of a playlist were able to set the crossfade individually for each playlist to allow the listener to experience a crossfade tuned to that playlist and it's genre I believe this would immensely improve the listener experience, and customizability of playlists on Spotify immensely.

All the best,

basically I want to suggest a feature where playlists enforce a crossfade time period (ex. 4 seconds) to ensure playlists that try to transition between songs can do that easily. To be honest I think (in my humble and ignorant opinion) this is a easy feature to adopt into Spotify's repertoire of features.

It would be helpful to make some playlists have the crossplay feature so that they blend together. Like the crossplay feature would be under the three dots in the playlist.
