[Playlists] Sort by Release Date

Yes. Sometimes I'm in the mood for some 80s or 90s or whatevers. How is this not a feature already? Seems like a natural.

Is there a an overview of features that Spotify implemented based on ideas?
That would help to gain trust into this idea-thing here... otherwise I also
have the opinion that these ideas have no effect...

Spotify are losing money by the bucketload and have $1.5 billion loans. There are quite a few reports questioning whether they'll go bankrupt soon. They're not really into the product anymore and they're certainly not going to be implementing any ideas suggested here. They never really have in the firstplace.

Backup your playlists people because they may be gone one day.

Find it absolutely ridiculous that this simple feature isn't available (3 years after being suggested) when the data is obviously there as you can search by year. 

What is it with Spotify and restcting you, can't have the option to remove lyrics in iOS, can't sort by year??? Seriously considering cancelling my £15 a month family plan and looking at alternatives.

Probably my biggest irk is no release dates.  If its there somewhere let me know.  I'm intrested in new music.  love oldies too but get super frustrated when i hear a sweet song and the band has been retired for 5 yrs.
