So the function to pre-save is awesome,
however like many I can imagine when you’re on social media platforms and you get an ad for a new artist who has a pre save link for a song that you like the sound of you click it link to Spotify and pre-save
sometimes you might not have a release date for the song in the post you found it on or sometimes you forget because you were scrolling and like the song pre-saved without following the artist or remember who they were if they are less well known.
now I see that when they release you get a little alarm symbol next to the song which usually goes straight to your library or to your recents in notifications. But what if you miss this and then the song which title you may not remember along with artist just blends into your endless library?
In think it would be awesome to have either a tab where you can see songs you’ve presaved that are waiting for release so you can refresh your mind on them and keep up to date with it.
or like the release radar playlist have a playlist for presaved songs in the last 1-3months.
if any of that isn’t completely possible if the A.I dj could recognise songs added to your library via presave you could ask him in the prompt box to play songs that you have presaved.
essentially a lot of good up and coming artists or one hit gems are being lost after gaining track/trending on social media platforms but are still yet to take off I think it would help new artists and direct traffic to Spotify better.
