Quick Access Controls need Improvement

I’d love to see some improvements to Spotify’s quick-access controls, particularly on Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Android lock screen.

On the Galaxy Watch, the Spotify widget currently takes too much navigation for something that should be quick and glanceable. Ideally, I’d like to open the widget and immediately see what’s currently playing, with easy controls to skip tracks, adjust volume, and quickly switch between playlists or recent music without having to navigate through multiple screens.

I’d also love a better “Now Playing” experience on the phone lock screen. At the moment, Spotify gets mixed in with other notifications and is easy to lose. It would be great if Spotify could have a more prominent lock-screen player showing the album artwork, song title and artist, along with the usual playback controls.

One small addition that would make a huge difference: a Like/Save button directly on the lock-screen player. When I hear a song I like while driving, walking, exercising, etc., I want to be able to quickly add it to my Liked Songs without unlocking my phone and opening Spotify.

Basically, I’d love Spotify to make “what’s playing right now” much more accessible across both the Galaxy Watch and Android lock screen, with fewer taps required for the things you do most often.
