Removing items from Recently Played history

I would also like it if we had the option to remove our recently played history because sometimes I would listen to someone's playlist, an artist, or one of my own playlists by accident and I don't really listen to the playlist or artist anymore or I already have a song by that artist and it doesn't make sense to keep it in my library or recently played history.

Sometimes, I fall asleep listening to a song that I searched or played from the single and the track repeats over and over again until I wake up or my phone dies. I don't have the replay button on but it still does this. In my stats it shows up as one of my most listened songs, and I don't want a random song affecting the outcome of my Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year.

I cancelled premium due to these stupid issues they don't listen to the users about and stopped using Spotify entirely. Good luck to anyone still using it.

Wow, this has been around for multiple years and is such an important feature for privacy reasons. We should have more control of our own information. Please add this soon.

Absolutely unbelievable that this is not a basic feature for end-users (used to be but got removed in one of the many UI downgrades over the years!).

With the amount of times Smart Assistants misunderstand even the most simple song, album or playlist requests, all of our Recently Played and Continue Playing suggestions must be full of random unwanted content.

They can't even reliably start the built-in playlists, I've got to have like 5 or 6 different random results in there that kinda look like Discover Weekly but clearly aren't what I was asking for with no way to remove them...

I vote to have the option to be able to remove items from listening history. Siri played a horror story from some podcast with scary graphics. It did that even after I asked again, three times. I wish it to not show on my Spotify page. I’m spooked.

My profile was compromised because of the *lack of the most basic security feature of 2FA* and now I have a bunch of garbage reggaeton music in my otherwise metal profile. Being able to remove items from my history so**bleep** stops showing up in my generated playlists sure would be A BASIC FEATURE...I mean, great.

It's been 3 years, how did this not get added even after following your protocols of ideas and votes etc?

This is a very basic necessity when it comes to a music application, as there is a plethora of scenarios where unwanted music gets played and alters your algorithm.

Please, just add it already...
