Removing items from Recently Played history

I would also like it if we had the option to remove our recently played history because sometimes I would listen to someone's playlist, an artist, or one of my own playlists by accident and I don't really listen to the playlist or artist anymore or I already have a song by that artist and it doesn't make sense to keep it in my library or recently played history.

Replying to @nsnyderxc,

Spotify's fix for this issue, is for you to sign up for a more expensive "Duo" account, so that your kid can have their own account with parental settings turned on. If they ever added this feature, they would be loosing money bc it would no longer be an incentive to pay more for the "Duo" account. It is a business decision "not" to add this feature.

We got "Exclude track from your taste profile" from the three dot menu of each song, which can also be accessed from the "Recents" menu.

Honestly, thank you!

It is completely ridiculous that years later a simple "remove from my recently played" option is not available. We do not live in isolation and frequently play music for friends/family and on both work and personal time. To have that pop up on this list with no way to remove is unacceptable when you consider it shows up on the Home screen! If I'm in an office I do not want that information being shown to my colleagues. To require a private mode or a duo account in order to avoid this simple fix is not good customer service. Your subscription plans are not cheap.
