Return expanded queue view (not only sidebar) for desktop as it was before and now on web

As mentioned in https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/Cannot-expand-queue-section-on-Mac-desktop-application/... it would be great to return old and pretty standard view for queue (aka playing now). As having it very limited on sidebar is against existing UX

Additional tip for Windows (11) users: You can install the (last) version that had the center queue view by uninstalling the nasty spotify client and then install that specific version using winget:

# Remove any installed spotify client, if installed via WinGet
winget remove spotify --all

# Install nice version with center pane queue view
winget install spotify --version 1.2.31.1205.g4d59ad7

Are there any alternative 3rd party apps for mac?

Got 3 days left on my Apple Music subscription, came back to see if this was fixed, nope.  Would like to try spotify again but hate this app layout.

I don't know if they have a Mac client (probably do) but you could try Tidal, I think they're even cheaper than spotify.

Spotify has a lot of instumental bluegrass (without singing) which is why I want to give it another go.  Just want an interface where the queue is full screen.  Expected that I'd be able to change it in the 'settings' section.  Nope.  So the second option I was hoping existed was some's built a 3rd party spotify client interface.

Spotify desktop app's full screen is the best screensaver i like to put on, being a picky listener, i sometimes want to skip to some next song in my shuffled queue, to do that i have to exit the full screen put on the song i like, and then switch to full screen again. 😔
