Select and organize multiple Playlists

This is a direct copy of this idea which was originally posted 2 years ago.  I wasn't a user then, and this idea has since been made inactive, so I'm resurrecting it.  Even just a shift-select on the desktop app would help immeasurably.  Here's the original idea:

"I am looking for easy ways to organize my library.

I want to do some housekeeping in my library, but I find the current system of dragging and dropping individual playlists is too time consuming when the number of playlists reach this high.

First of all, there should be a way to select multiple playlists at once and be able to handle multiple playlists the same way as I can handle single playlist (ability to drag and drop, and rightclick w/ a special dropdown menu for multiple selected items).

Ctrl-clicking, shift-clicking and shift+arrowkeys would help greatly.

CMD clicking playlists not working to select multiple items? Something I would normally do a bug report to the company for.

seems like the top dawgs @ spotify want people to use the "your music" feature. that feature doesn't seem to allow for a custom order. anyone with an cd/record collection has the opportunity to organize their music as they see fit, not just artist, title, recently added, recently played. 

s/o to @spotifycares for leading me to this community, tho it's ironic that they don't care enough for basic functionality of UX.

Currently I can only select one playlist at a time in the right navigation. This makes it very annoying if I want to move x amount of playlist into another playlist folder, or say delete multiple playlists at once. If you won't movement of multiple playlists, then at least allow the selection of multiple playlist for the sake of adding them to a playlist folder, or deleting them.

It has to be possible to add a song to multiple playlists. Plain and simple. Bottom Line. End of story. Make it happen Spotify.

Thanks @martskre !   Your idea is solid and seemingly easy enough to implement, I have no idea why it's taken 3 years.  As loyal Spotify premium users build their libraries over time, we increasingly need streamlined ways to manage these libraries.  Selecting multiple playlists to move/copy/delete is the most simple of these.  @meahtenoha would it be possible to get a rough roadmap or any info as to why this is being held up?  Thanks so much for your help!
