Shuffle whole library

Can you please add a feature that allows you to shuffle your whole library? (Including everything you have downloaded)

This!! I have been wanting this ever since I switched from Apple Music to Spotify. I have recently been considering switching back to Apple Music just for this!

To be honest I have been thinking about this for years. One of the main things I absolutely do not understand about Spotify. What is the point of having a "library" feature if you can't shuffle it? Like sure I can look through it but music discovery (like everyone has mentioned, rediscovering albums with a truly random shuffle) Unless there is some insane patent or something iTunes has for the "shuffle" feature (which would be hilarious), what is preventing them from adding it? The data is already there, just put a play button on the app. Like others have said, no one in their right mind is gonna go through a full music library (especially with the volume of recommendations that Spotify pushes) and add each album or item to a playlist, especially since the limit is 10,000 songs! I hit 1500 after going through the first section (#) of the alphabetized "creators" organization feature. I could also add everything to my liked songs, but then that completely bricks the functionality of it being a separate feature in the first place. Violently frustrating for people who aren't sitting on their phone for 24 hours a day adding each new thing to a genre or mood specific playlist. Oh my god, please spotify! Please! It would genuinely be so awesome and it seems (in my uninformed and angry opinion) very easy.

A new unique way to shuffle *all* music in your library. Every Playlist, Every liked song. I feel like that would be an amazing choice for users who have an overwhelming amount of playlists and songs in their liked songs and if there was a mega shuffle feature it would be a fresh change of pace with each song change!

Agree, but also this would be even better if it included ALL of your saved music. All meaning that everything saved in your library (albums singles, etc), as a feature instead of playlists and liked songs.

that’s so true. i hadn’t even thought of that possibility. That would be such a nice feature!

I need a botton to shuffle the songs from all of my playlists, not just the one that shuffle the songs in a single playlist. I wanna be able to hear different genres (i have a playlist for each genre) randomly.

Being able to shuffle all songs from all playlists in the library and not only shuffle the songs from one playlist.

I have such a hard time figuring out your UI. If there is a song I want to save, why can’t I just add it to my Library and it appear under Artists, Albums, and Songs? Why is there no Songs category? Why can’t I like a song and have it appear in My Library in all ways? All I want is to be able to do is add songs to My Library and play my Library songs on Shuffle. I don’t want to have to add every song to Liked Songs. I might like a song and want it in my Library but not want it in a Liked Songs playlist. Why is Liked Songs the only place to add things? Please help. I like Spotify but I’m on the verge of leaving because the UI is so frustrating.

Currently, we can shuffle our playlists and liked songs. However I thought it would be awesome to somehow be able to shuffle all of the songs across the entire “Your Library” list. This would allow you to access shuffle to every single song across your liked songs and playlists alike.

It is pretty straight forward: I really think there should be an option where I can shuffle or play my entire library. I’d just explore new songs from playlists I saved or old songs tucked away somewhere.
