I hope you are doing well.
I would like to share a suggestion regarding the visual experience within the app, specifically in the lyrics section, as I believe it has great potential for improvement.
Currently, the lyrics design uses solid color backgrounds that serve their purpose, but in many cases they can feel somewhat simple or visually unappealing, especially for users who enjoy a more immersive experience while listening to music.
Nowadays, the aesthetics of an application are just as important as its functionality, and small visual changes can make a huge difference in how the service is perceived.
I would like to suggest implementing a more modern visual style, such as translucent or “glass-like” backgrounds that subtly integrate elements from the album artwork or soft background designs. This type of interface could make the lyrics feel more elegant, dynamic, and aligned with current UI trends, creating a more immersive and visually engaging experience for users.
Additionally, it would be a great improvement to allow some level of customization for typography and lyric styles. For example, options to choose between different fonts, font weights, or visual themes (minimalist, modern, dynamic, etc.). This would not only make the experience more comfortable, but also more personal, allowing users to adapt the app to their own preferences.
Implementing these kinds of features could represent an important step toward a more premium and differentiated experience within the platform. Many users value not only audio quality, but also design and visual interaction, so these improvements could significantly increase overall user satisfaction.
I truly believe that an update in this area would be very well received by the community and would help keep Spotify at the forefront not only in music content, but also in user experience and interface design.
